I now see you went with the green (only watched the video and responded to that). Great choice.
I’ve come home to the start of peach blossoms and aphids all over the roses. I’m looking forward to some time in the garden over the week and next weekend to give it a bit of love.
Apparently they breed asexually and can have 10-20 generations in a year! I’m fighting an uphill aphid surge. I can’t wait report that despite yesterday’s strong winds, they continue to cling on to those sweet new leaves
Green all the way for me. Black is hot. And you’ll feel it in summer. The dark green will still absorb the heat (and feel hot) but won’t feel so hard on the eyes. So keen to see the outcome!
My winter garden is very quiet. On the streets there are signs of spring, magnolias and some early lossoms .I am contemplating what to do for the garden to give it some joy

I enjoy flicking aphids off with my fingers! Today's windy weather may knock some plants around.

Yes - I was once so certain of black being the 'right' choice. I'm feeling more motivated to garden with the warmer weather.
